What does Schedule of services mean?

A schedule usually contained in a consultant’s appointment or pre-construction services agreement and which sets out, in detail, all the services to be performed by the consultant or contractor under the relevant agreement.

Construction documents—key issues for lender's lawyers On every construction project which requires external funding, the lender will appoint its own team of lawyers to draft and/or negotiate the various documents. Part of the long list of documents which need to be agreed are the development and construction documents. The lender will appoint its own construction lawyer to review the construction documents and to negotiate with the borrower's lawyer where it considers that changes are required. Appointing professional advisers and other pension scheme advisers THIS PRACTICE NOTE APPLIES TO OCCUPATIONAL PENSION SCHEMES Running a pension scheme can, at times, be a demanding and complex task for trustees. There is much legislation and regulation to understand and abide by, decisions to make and formalities to complete. As a result, many pension scheme trustees formally appoint a panel of professionals to assist them to run the pension scheme correctly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Legislation provides for the appointment of certain advisers known as ‘professional advisers’. Professional advisers include: • the scheme auditor • the scheme actuary • the fund manager • the custodian • the legal adviser In fact, under the Pensions Act 1995 (PA 1995), s 47, schemes are legally obliged to appoint an auditor and, where defined benefits are provided, an actuary. What type of appointment and schedule of services should I use for a BIM level 2 coordinator? It is important firstly to understand what the parties mean when they use the term BIM level 2 coordinator. Often, people equate this with a BIM information manager, but in some situations the role is actually wider than that of an information manager. For example, the Construction Industry Council Protocol takes the position that a BIM information manager has no design related duties, whereas a BIM coordinator would be responsible for clash detection and model coordination activities (albeit the design lead may undertake these activities)—see section 4.
