Family analysis: The Home Office has published an updated schedule setting out the commencement dates of the various provisions of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (DAA 2021). Of note is that provisions as to special measures in civil and criminal proceedings, the prohibition of cross-examination in family and civil proceedings and in relation to orders prohibiting further applications in private law children proceedings are anticipated to come into force in May and June 2022.
