[371VC  Accounting profits]

[(1)     This section and section 371VD (with which this section needs to be read) apply for the purposes of this Part.

(2)     A CFC's accounting profits for an accounting period are its pre-tax profits for the period.

(3)     If financial statements for the CFC are prepared for the accounting period in accordance with an acceptable accounting practice, the CFC's pre-tax profits are to be determined by reference to
