7  Members' interests

(1)     Section 39 of the 1998 Act (members' interests) is amended as follows.

(2)     For subsections (5) to (7) substitute—

“(4A)     Any requirement or prohibition (however expressed) imposed by provision made in pursuance of subsections (2) to (4) may be subject to such exceptions as are specified
