And whereas it may be expedient and proper that the chancellor and council of her Majesty's duchy of Lancaster, on her Majesty's behalf, should be authorized to grant, convey, or enfranchise, to or in favour of the trustee or trustees of any existing or intended school, lands and hereditaments belonging to her Majesty in right of her said duchy, for the purposes of this Act: . . .
