[44F  Application of this Chapter to service police etc]

[(1)     This Chapter applies in relation to a person mentioned in subsection (2) as it applies in relation to an authorised person, with the modifications specified in subsections (3) and (4).

(2)     The persons are—

(a)     a member of the Royal Navy Police, the Royal Military Police or the Royal Air Force Police;

(b)     a person designated by the Service Police Complaints Commissioner under regulation 36(2) of the Service Police (Complaints etc) Regulations 2023 (SI 2023/624);

(c)     a person who has been engaged to provide services consisting of or including the obtaining of information for the purposes of the exercise of functions
