Part I References to Police Authorities Established under Section 3 of Police Act 1964

(1)     In the provisions referred to in sub-paragraph (2), for “section 3 of the Police Act 1964â€, in each place where it occurs, there shall be substituted “section 3 of the Police Act 1996â€.

(2)     The provisions referred to in sub-paragraph (1) are—

(a)     section 11(4)(a) of, and paragraph 9(d) of Part II of Schedule 1 to, the Trustee Investments Act 1961;

(b)     sections 2(6) and 8(1) of the Local Government (Records) Act 1962;

(c)     section 11(2) of the Local Government Act 1966;

(d)     section 28(5)(a) of the
