[90C  Consultation and local inquiries]

°Ú(1)ÌýÌýÌýÌý Where the Secretary of State [, a strategic highways company] or a local highway authority propose to construct a road hump under section 90A or 90B above, he [, it] or they [Where a highway authority proposes to construct a road hump under section 90A, or the Welsh Ministers propose to construct a road hump under section 90B, the highway authority or the Welsh Ministers (as the case may be)] shall consult with—

(²¹)ÌýÌýÌýÌý the chief officer of police for the area in which the highway concerned is situated; and

(b)     such other persons or bodies as may be prescribed by regulations made
