Appointment and functions of Medical Adviser to the Chief Coroner

The Lord Chancellor may appoint a person as Medical Adviser to the Chief Coroner (“the Medical Adviserâ€) to provide advice and assistance to the Chief Coroner as to medical matters in relation to the coroner system.
