(1)     The Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (c 60) is amended as follows.

(2)     In section 46ZA (persons granted live link bail)—

(a)     in subsection (3) (accused persons who answer to live link bail and are treated as in police detention)—

(i)     omit paragraph (a) (persons
