[446D  Appointment of replacement inspectors]

[(1)     Where—

(a)     an inspector resigns,

(b)     an inspector's appointment is revoked, or

(c)     an inspector dies,

the Secretary of State may appoint one or more competent inspectors to continue the investigation.
