23  Furnishing of information by coroner

(1)ÌýÌýÌýÌý . . .

(2)ÌýÌýÌýÌý [Where an inquest is held into a death and the registrar receives under section 11(7) of the Coroners Act 1987 a certificate under the coroner's hand—

(a)ÌýÌýÌýÌý giving information concerning the death; and

(b)ÌýÌýÌýÌý specifying the finding with respect to the particulars required to be registered concerning the death and with respect to the cause of death,] the registrar shall in the prescribed form and manner register the death and the particulars as found at the inquest, and, if the death has been previously registered, the said particulars shall be entered in the prescribed manner without any alteration of the original entry.

[(2)ÌýÌýÌýÌý Where there has been an investigation under Part 1 of the 2009 Act into a death and the senior coroner sends to the registrar a certificate giving information concerning the death, including the particulars found under section 10(1)(b) of that Act, the registrar shall in the prescribed form and manner register
