10  Penalty for pretending to be a body recognised under s 9

(1)     A body . . . shall not describe itself or hold itself out as a body . . . for the time being recognised under section 9 unless it is so recognised.

(2)     Any body . . . which contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding the fourth level on the standard scale.

[(3)     Where an offence under this section committed by a body corporate is proved to have been committed with the consent or connivance of or to be attributable to any neglect on the part of an officer of the body corporate, that officer (as well as the
