Part 4 Amendments of Parts 4 to 6 of the Act

Parts 4 to 6 of the Banking Act 2009 are amended as follows.

(1)     Section 183 (interpretation of Part 5) is amended as follows.

(2)     In paragraph (c)—

(a)     for “section 3(2)†substitute “section 1Iâ€, and

(b)     omit “(market confidence)â€.

(3)     For paragraph (e), and the “and†before it, substitute—

“(e)     the FCA†means the Financial Conduct Authority,

(f)     “Part 4A permission†has the meaning given by section 55A of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000,

(g)     “the PRA†means the Prudential Regulation Authority,

(h)     “PRA-regulated activity†has the meaning
