This Practice Note sets out the Rules that apply when serving documents, other than the claim form, Particulars of claim or the defence, in proceedings in England and Wales. For example, application notices, witness statements or court orders eg interim charging orders. It includes the methods of service, Deemed service and applications for an Extension of time. The rules are set out in Section III of Part 6, starting at CPR 6.19.
