IPO share price performance H1 2019

The Market Tracker Team analysed share price performance of companies[1] admitted to trading on the Main Market and AIM in the first half of 2019 comparing the IPO offer price with the closing price on the first day, after one month and after three months of trading.

Whilst IPO activity is still depressed, aftermarket performance of companies that do make it to the market is more encouraging. Eight out of 12 companies were trading at or above their offer price after one month and three months of trading.

[1] Companies looked at include those listing in the first half of 2019 on the Main Market and AIM excluding investment funds.
